Every year an awaited event is the monochrome contest and exhibition "Challenge Good Year" organized by the Photo-Cine Club of Colmar Berg in Luxembourg under the patronage of FLPA. Only monochrome photos are accepted both in the imposed and free subject sections. This year the imposed subject was "the Luxembourg Transportation Infrastructure".

• Location: "Centre Culturel de Colmar-Berg".
• Exhibition: 19-20/5/12.

Happy Easter !

Easter is a Christian feast and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day after his crucifixion at Calvary as described in the New Testament. Easter is preceded by Lent, a forty-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance. The last week of Lent is called Holy Week, and it contains the days of the Easter Triduum, including Maundy Thursday, commemorating Maundy and the Last Supper,[4][5] as well as Good Friday, commemorating the crucifixion and death of Jesus.

The 4-th Luxembourg International Digital Contest Public Showing of the Projected Images and Awards Ceremony is going to take place Saturday the 21-st of April 2012, at the Centre Culturel "Tramsschapp" in Rue Emersinde, Luxembourg Limperstberg.

A new event related to photography  you may want to put into your calendars  is the Exhibition of  Michele Lamesch-Junio, Jean-Paul Schmit and Roland Schockweiller.

The Vernissage takes place on January 27, at 19.30  in the Art Gallery “Am Duerf”, place de l’Eglise Steinsel, Luxembourg. 

The exhibition will be open Saturdays and Sundays on January 28-29 and February 4-5, 2012, from 14.30 to 18.30.
